Oh young Brad Pitt, what’s up.
no internet,
meant I sat and watched films instead of listening to spotify things and working.
Yay.
The list of things;
Sightseers,
THX 1138,
Requiem For a Dream,
Control,
True Romance,
Snow White and The Huntsman,
Les Miserables
(I’ve made a late new years resolution to finish watching a film all the way through. Next to scribble off the half watched list is Magnolia)
Searching for Sugarman Q&A
The BFI have recently uploaded this Q&A with the director of Searching for Sugarman, Malik Bendjelloul, and the film’s star, Rodriguez.
In this month’s MOJO (issue 225) we awarded the film four stars, calling it ‘a wonderful movie, as unusual and heartwarming a tale as you will see all year.’
Check out the Q&A below and then head over to the film’s official website to find out about screenings near you.
Uni blues,
So, yesterday I chose my ‘Double Project’ topic. Not yet sure how to form it in to a question, but we shall see.
We’ve been advised to spend 600hours on the project. I’m assuming this time is the dissertation and film/product as a collective. I’ve done some maths. And if I were to work on this solidly at 8hours a day, it would take 75 days. 8hours a day probably won’t happen ever, so realistically I’m looking at 150 days. 21 weeks/5months.
There are 8months left of uni, and these maths scare me a little. Time to focus and work. Or learn how to juggle.
On top of this we’ll have Industry work practice and our Independent project.
